At one point in time, the Altair 8800 computer was the only computer system available to people. This system was not user friendly, and in order to make the computer program do anything, data had to be entered into the computer, or a disk had to be used that had programming already installed. In 1975 Bill Gates and Paul Allen, his best friend, began a new company known as Microsoft. The revolutions of what they began and the changes that they have made on the world of technology are vast. Bill and Paul invented their own programming language called MS-BASIC. After their invention they split into their own company called Microsoft. The impact of Microsoft has changed the way most people interact and view things in the world of technology.
