What is astronomy....? A world-wide question that still hums the mind of man-kind. Astronomy can be different to some people;ex. to me, astromony is a round of information about the solor system,stars, and every other being in the central universe. And to others, astronomy is science based on a higher level of thinking. But really, astronomy isn't that hard to understand. And you don't have to score a perfect score on your IQ to understand it! What astronomy means to me and how I explain it in my own words... Issac NewtonÂ’s Law of Universal Gravitation is: Two bodies attracted to each other with a force that is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. This means that the further apart these two attracting bodies are from each other, the less the gravitational force between them is. The force of gravity depends on the product of the mass of the two attracting bodies.
