Dear incoming freshmen, I am writing this article to help you manage your time in a productive way. Procrastination, something I have dealt with all my life and I am sure many of you have dealt with it your selves. For those who do not know what procrastination is it is to put off something, especially out of habitual carelessness or laziness. Many of you are probably thinking that you can procrastinate and you will do fine, honestly I thought the same thing. In high school I was a constant procrastinator, I would put everything off until the last possible second. This strategy more often then not worked for me and usually didnt fail me. When I entered my first semester at Chico State I heard many people telling me that unlike high school you can not procrastinate in college and it will hurt you in the long run. Thinking I knew everything I didnt really pay much attention to what they had to say.
