Speaker of the 1790's Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Jefferson and Hamilton were two men of different ideas; Jefferson believed in limited government influence and believed in economic prosperity among the people. Hamilton was a man of economics, he thought economics, breathed it, and debated it. Hamilton by far had a better economic plan than Jefferson could have concocted. However Jefferson had a better foreign policy… both of these men had their strengths and weaknesses, but they both were very intelligent. Jefferson had always had the idea that the president is a normal person, dresses normal, acts normally, is basically just a guy going to work everyday and going home and resting. On the other hand, Hamilton (unable to become president due to his place of birth) always was on the edge of genius and believed that the president should be centralized into a strong form of government. The President doesn’t have every power in the book, but it has a very loose job, it establishes foreign policy, debt, and is a very important figure in government. In terms of being a better spokesman, by far I would have to go with Hamilton. ......
