Germany disliked all aspects of the Treaty Versailles. They believed that it was unfair and too harsh. I agree with the statement above for several reasons. The military restrictions that the Central Powers placed on Germany was ruthless as it would make them feel vulnerable towards other countries. Countries that surrounded Germany could be tempted to attack as they would no that they would have no real competition. These countries would want to take land from Germany in order to become powerful. Germany was also left ruined and weak as they had just been in a big war. Most parts of Germany were left destroyed so they would be oblivious to being attacked again. Another reason as to why I agree with this statement is because Germany needed to defend their country.
