How did Macbeth turn from “Nobel Macbeth” to “A Bloody Butcher”? In this essay you will discover how Macbeth turned from a young hero to a bloody dead butcher. This happened because Macbeth was very ambitious and only thought of himself becoming King of Scotland and Thane of Cawdor, all at the expense of the people of soon to be his country. We see in the beginning of the play that Macbeth was in a battle against the Norwegians. He tried to show that he was brave throughout the whole battle. He killed the traitor who was the Thane of Cawdor. Macbeth then became Thane of Cawdor himself. King Duncan (the King of Scotland) made him Thane of Cawdor because he believed that Macbeth was very trustworthy, Brave and Nobel. Macbeth was called Nobel at this stage because of his winning of the battle. Being Thane of Cawdor made Lady Macbeth love Macbeth and worship him even more. Macbeth has three main influences such as the witches. The witches influenced him by telling Macbeth that after a battle if he defeats the Norwegians he will become Thane of Cawdor.
