The Boston Tea Party " It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds.” Samuel Adams said these words during the American revolution, and he stuck to them. He was always trying to campaign against Great Britain and keep the drive to be free going. During the American Revolution, many different groups of people came together to stand up for what they believed in. One of these groups of people was the Sons of Liberty, lead by Samuel Adams. They protested to many of the unjust British laws, but the most memorable was their protest to the Tea Act. They protested the Tea Act by dumping the British tea off the ships and into the water. This came to be known as the Boston Tea Party. The Boston Tea Party, lead by patriot leader Samuel Adams and instigated by the Tea Act, was the most important pre-American Revolution act because it pushed rebellion and protest to a new level, it forced the British to enforce the Coercive Acts, and it caused Americans from all colonies to be more coherent.
