INTRODUCTION
When it comes to obsessive-compulsive disorder, there are common features that are associated with it. Those common features are: of sweating, accelerated rate of heartbeat, and restlessness. All show that a person is experiencing the symptoms of anxiety, which is in fact quite a normal human attitude. This usually occurs when people are confronted with challenging situations in their lives, such as preparing for the final exams, waiting for an interview for a possible new job, or as common as waiting for a bus. Biologically speaking, these activities increases the respiration, thus triggering an increase in oxygen levels in the blood, with a simultaneous increase in the rate of heart beat, thus sending more oxygen and glucose to the muscles. All this activity therefore enables the human body to sustain our actions in situations of anxiety. Throughout life, these actions are a source of building self-confidence, self esteem and the inner will to face future challenges.
