For many centuries and even millennia thinkers have wondered what original force or entity propelled the universe to move in the circular motion that it moves in today. Supporters of the Big Bang theory argue that the universe was created by a massive explosion that arranged all the cosmos in its current state and set it forth in this circular motion. According to Aristotle, the Unmoved Mover is the first cause of all motion that is itself unmoved; it is always constant.
