Heroine or Fool?
The rope snaps strait, tightening and straining with the weight of a human underneath. A knife slices into a body and blood pours onto the ground. Antigone hangs from a single rope, Heamons body in a bloody heap next to her feet. Both are lifeless, both are dead; both chose to be that way for what they believed in, heroic or foolish? Did Antigones decision to kill herself, make her a heroin or a fool
? I believe she is a heroin, for many reasons: one reason is death is heroic, plain and simple. Another reason is she did it for a good cause not and not for a stupid, foolish reasons. My final reason is that the fact that she stood up for something that was wrong, and by standing up to this she benefited others more then herself. With these three reasons I will explain to you why I believe Antigone was a heroin and not a fool.
