Bertrand Russell once stated The value of philosophy is, in fact, to be sought largely in its very uncertainty. Russell is aware that to the practical man philosophy is useless and so are the people that study it. But he feels that not only the body should be nurtured, but so should the mind. Russell feels that philosophy is not to be studied to reach any true answers, but to ask the questions usually not held to speculation.
