In order to have a healthy long-term economy there are many characteristics that can be considered for example: probably the most influential characteristic is the unemployment rate. To have healthy results their needs to be a low unemployment rate. If there is a high unemployment rate people arent able to buy things that they want. Some may not even be able to buy the things they need. Another key characteristic is low inflation rate. We also want to have a real world win-win scenario. This means an increase in supply with an even bigger increase in demand so that the producers make a profit from their product. As far as markets go for a healthy economy we would want a perfectly competitive market. There should be many buyers as well as many sellers. Another factor is the production possibilities of a business. The supplier and middle-man have to put an efficient supply into the economy, the equilibrium supply.
