Who do you think is to blame for terrible events in Acts I-III? Examine the characters of Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and The Witches, and consider their roles in the murder of King Duncan and Banquo. • Quotations from the text • Reference to specific scenes and characters Macbeth Before Macbeth met The Witches, he was considered a heroic and loyal soldier.
