Uses of Time Valued Money Valuing money is important to many corporations. Managing a company requires high-quality knowledge of money and how it is used. Three uses that will be discussed in the paper are present and future, finance, and investments. These are just a couple of areas that will enhance the knowledge of time-valued money. To fully understand time value of money one must first understand a few terms. Present value and future value is totally different. Of course, present value is what you have right now at this present time. While future value is the amount of money you will have at a given time in the future.
