Finding Nemo Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
After the loss of his entire family consisting of a wife and more than 400 children still in their eggs to the belly of what appeared to be a gar fish or a Moray eel, clownfish Marlin (voice of Albert Brooks) has become what some would call over protective of his only remaining son, Nemo (voice of Alexander Gould). But as we are taught by the entertainment industry, all adolescents are defiant in potentially lethal ways. Nemo dares his father and defies his father's protective commands by, among other things, swimming off to a forbidden area where he is caught as game fish by a diver who is also an Australian dentist [Eph. 6:1; Col. 3:20; Heb. 13:17]. The writers also have Nemo telling his father "I hate you." [Exod. 20:12; Eph. 6:4; Prov. 20:20 If a man curses his father or mother, his lamp will be snuffed out in pitch darkness.] Nemo is to become a gift for the dentist's young relative who killed the previous gift fish by shaking it unmercifully while still in the gift bag. Marlin is bound and determined to find his only remaining son. Enlisting the aid of an absent-minded hippotan......
