Memories Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
One of the memories that stands out most in my mind took place in 1993
when I was five years old. It was late autumn and the leaves, which had
used to hang on the trees, all green and fresh, had become a vast
carpet of glorious colours. The burning reds, fiery oranges and
golden-browns made the world around me a far brighter, happier place to live in.
Finally, the day had come for my long awaited horse-riding lesson,
which was a much-wanted birthday present from my parents. Butterflies were
fluttering around in my stomach as we came nearer and nearer to the
stables. At the entrance to the small car park, which was situated right
next to the stables, the road that the car chugged along was full of
potholes, which made the vehicle jump up and down in a sharp, jagged
dance. There was a bay mare in the field with her foal, which was a
magnificent jet black with three snow-white socks that covered its bony ankles.
