Front Stage Behavior Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Do you realize any front stage behavior you engage in?
After reading the weeks lectures I did find myself to exhibit a front stage behavior in several different circumstances in life. And very similar to what I said in my ethnocentric post, I believe everyone to some degree does the same.
Some people have a front stage behavior that is different then their back stage behavior because they care so much of what people will think of them. Some are trying to fit into a particular group or setting, and some do it simply because they are required to do so at their job. The list goes on and on of why people might act one way around people and differently behind their own doors. Of course I dont have time to go over all of them so I will discuss the few I have mentioned above.
First let us look at why people care so much about what others think of them. I myself used to be so worried about what others thought of me.
