Abstract
What went wrong with our government in the 1960s? Like many Americans, Lowi didnt care for the direction our government was moving in, so he decided to write a book discussing Americas political future. Lowi urges that we move away from group interest liberalism which was very powerful in the 1960s, to a judicial democracy which would make Congress a major player in the political system. During the 1960s, Lowi described the laws as being pretty vague, and this left a lot of room for mischief. He suggested that laws tighten, and that they must be clearly defined.
