Title: Tuesdays with Morrie Author: Mitch Albom Publisher: Doubleday An old Man, a young man, and life's greatest lesson Mitch Albom, the author of the book, was the most renowned sports journalist in America. He led a wealthy yet meaning less life until the day when he rediscovered his former teacher, Morrie Schwartz, in a TV show, where he learned that his dear teacher had go Lou Gehrig's disease, a terminal illness. From then on, every Tuesday, Mitch visited his teacher, and every time they chatted about a lot of topics, family, money and emotions, just to name a few. The topics were always different, but the main theme never changed, which was: the Meaning of Life. During the fourteen Tuesdays, we see how a dying man, with disease devouring his body and death marching nearer and nearer, take advantage of his experience to face death directly. We see how Morrie, on the brink of death, manages to soften Mitch's hardened heart and guide him to the right way of life. We see how Mitch, who originally devoted himself to the quest for prestige and money, stops his fever......
