Later generations should remember the Holocaust for many reasons. The Holocaust plays an important part in our history. It not only affect the Jewish religion it had an impact on many religions. I think that it is very important for kids to keep learning about this event that affected every one. Today there are men who were German soldiers that are on trial for what they did during this time. The Holocaust is still alive in a way.
I think if we keep teaching our kids about what happened that maybe they would know what to do if this ever occurred again during their time. For them to remember the Holocaust is not only important so that they know what to do if it happens again, but also so that they realize what some of their ancestors went through to survive. Maybe there are some kids that have family that survived the Holocaust and has a story to tell.
