Is the media psychologically shaping our behavior? I believe that this is a worthy topic because it is widely controversial and there is a great deal of knowledge to be gained. I think it is a good subject to discuss because the media has become more and more apart of our everyday life. Whether it is on TV, the movies, or a video game, there is a lot of peer pressure and a lot of influencing that is going on. I want to know more about what ways it influences us and how we react to it.
I feel that the topic I chose is important to me and others because, we blame a lot of the things that people do on the media, such as the school shootings and the pressure of sex on young adults. I truly believe that the media is to blame for such pressure but not all of it is the medias fault, people do have choices. Things such as the pressure of sex, drug use and the violent acts on television really do influence and have an impact on peoples lives.
