The past year and a half has certainly dealt me a few major life changes. Ready or not, these issues were facing me; therefore, I reacted the only way that I knew how and that was to keep going. I kept going alright, all the way to Maryland. I set up residence in Maryland, completed my internship and suddenly life threw me another curve ball. I would have to return to West Virginia, to my ill mother, no home and worst of all to the pain that I had ran from. I spent the month of December desperately trying to get my humble little mobile home approved by the city codes and at the same time nursing my mother back to health, and still trying to push away the pain of which was the reason for my leaving.
Upon returning to classes, I was a stranger in a strange land, for my senior class was preparing for graduation and I was surrounded by people I did not know. The only comfort I found was in the familiar face of my professor and in the fact that these students to my right and left did not know of my past.
