Andy Warhol Bio Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
Andy Warhol was born in 1928 in Pittsburgh. His mother was Julia Warhol and his father was Andrej Warhol. He was the youngest of the three sons. His original name was Andrew Warhola. His father worked as a construction worker, he unfortanetly died when Andy was only 13 years old, and his mother drew flowers with leafs made of can; she also painted eggs with bright colors, and was a maid. During his childhood Andy loved to color paint and cut. After living several years in a rented apartment the Warhols moved to their own house where Andy lived until he went to New York. At age 8 he was given a movie projector in which he used it to see cartoons in his walls. At age 9 he started liking photography, from that day to age 11 he started collecting pictures of famous movie stars.
Andy liked to paint and draw since little. After high school he studied commercial art at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in home country, Pittsburgh. Warhol graduated in 1949 from the University and went to New York where he worked as an illustrator for magazines like Vogue and Harpar's Bazaar and for ......
