Quality, service, cleanliness, and value, a motto that McDonalds has followed from the beginning proved to be a successful one. McDonalds has been around since 1940 and is still booming today. This Franchise has a massive impact on the economy and is very active in todays stock market. The first McDonalds was built in San Bernardino, CA. Brothers, Dick and Mac McDonald, built this burger shack to have fast self-service and something that people would enjoy. This started McDonalds sky rocketed to what it is today.
Raymond Albert Kroc invested his entire life savings to become the exclusive distributor of a milkshake maker called the Multimixer. At age 52, Kroc heard about the McDonalds hamburger stand in California running eight Multimixers at a time and headed west. When Kroc showed up at McDonalds one morning in 1954, he was amazed to see the fast moving line of customers buying bags of burgers and fries.
