Georgia native, Martin Luther king Jr, had many years of civil rights experience in 1955 when he moved to Alabama. He studied theology at Crozer theological seminary in Pennsylvania where he quickly was elected president of a predominantly white senior class. After he graduated he became a pastor of a Baptist church in Montgomery, Alabama. As king became more experienced in the civil rights field, he was elected president of many organizations dealing with civil rights and Christians (Nobel prize.org). Shortly After helping and fighting for Rosa parks, Emmet till, and Ruby bridges to get equal treatment and fair court trials, king was awarded with the Nobel peace prize and was also the youngest man ever to win it. The 54,123 dollars that he received with the prize, he gave to many of his civil rights......
