Macbeth Charecterization Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

In the story of Macbeth he is unlike the other great villains of Shakespeare's plays, it is established early on that Macbeth knows right from wrong and he is uncomfortable in the role of a villain. But despite these flaws Macbeth is easily tempted into a murder to achieve his ambition of power and control. In Act One, Macbeth is seen in many different ways by each character, to King Duncan and his soldiers he is a heroic and loyal warrior, to Banquo he is considered a fool for being an advocate of the dark arts, and also to himself a power hungry murderer. Macbeth would put on so many different faces for each character that his influences on them could sometimes be a positive or negative influence. Early on in the play Macbeth is praised and looked upon as a mighty and ruthless warrior. Even without being the first character to come out he has made such an impression of himself that he receives titles such as brave Macbeth, noble Macbeth, O worthiest cousin, and others such as Bellona's bridegroom, meaning that he has displayed such valor and strength that he is worthy enough to b......
