Racism is all around us in daily life, no matter where we are or what we are doing. Good morning classmates and Mrs Schlam today I will be talking about racism, and how it was used and developed in the highly-acclaimed novel, Deadly Unna?.
Deadly Unna Is a novel written by Phillip Gwynne about fourteen-year old Gary Blacks life living at the rocky wastes of the Port. The novel is based around the game of football but deals with many issues facing adolescents such as racism, human behaviour, courage, morals, violence, sacrifice and relationships. This novel combines humour, sports, fine writing and the theme of racism to depict and narrate Gary Blacks Life at living in the Port.
Racism is the belief that members of one race are superior to members of another race.
