Mark Twain Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Mark Twain Throughout Mark Twain’s novels, it is apparent that the basic foundation of his stories is the product of his own actual life experiences. Twain expressed much of his life through several characters in different novels, defining more or less the nature of his own youth. Included in his novels are aspects of American boyhood before the Civil War, much of the nineteenth century cruelties of society are revealed in the novels written by Mark Twain (Ward 100-101). In regard to that, Twain became one of the most famous writers of all time. His novels are so remarkable, that they appeal to people of all ages. Twain, who was actually named Samuel Langhorne Clemens, was born on November 30, 1835 in Jamestown, Tennessee. He was raised in a poor family with four other siblings. Clemens, who was a sickly child, caught many detrimental diseases and luckily survived them after moving to Florida. His parents had a very hard time raising him because of his mischievous attitude (Lauber 9-12). Over the years Twain published many books. The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was published in......
