Benjamin Franklin was born In Boston on the date of October 17, 1706.
He was the youngest child of his father Josiah and his mother Abiah.1715 was his last year or formal schooling. In 1717 he invented the poplar and useful tool we know as swim fins. He also tried his luck as cutler, but that didnt last long. In 1718 he went to work as an apprentice for his brother James Franklin as a printer. During this time Blackbeard the pirate was captured and Young Ben wrote a Powerful song of the occasion. In the year 1720 At 14 Ben moved out of his house into a boarding home to escape the hassle of his 10 siblings. He also stop going to church on sundays so he could utilize the time as a studying period. In the year 1721 James Franklin begins to publish The New England Courant with the aid of His brother ben. Strange enough in 1722 Ben becomes a vegetarian so he can save money to buy books.
