Outsourcing or Off Shoring of Jobs in the United States was a hot topic in the 2004 Presidential Elections. Today, it continues to be an emotional topic, because of its effect on the American middle class. Manufacturing jobs are not the only US jobs being sent overseas to foreign countries like India, China, and Costa Rica. In todays technological economy, white-collar jobs like customer service, information technology, and Data Entry, are at risk as well as others. Sources estimate that 30% of the US job market is at risk of being outsourced to other countries.
