Women's Sufferage in America Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

In the early 20th Century, there were significant changes in the status of women in America; which without the significant efforts of certain Americans would not have increased so greatly. The changes women experienced were legal, political and economic. These changes were brought about through the efforts of a relatively small number of women who advocated for women’s rights. The Seneca Falls Declaration played a major role in the campaign to change the status of women. The first convention for women’s rights was held in New York in 1848.
