Sexuality is one of the characteristics of human beings and it is also something that must be handled responsibly. But if we take chances with sex, it can create a source of problems. Like when an adolescent becomes pregnant, this situation occurs too often, especially in the United States. Approximately one million American teenagers become pregnant every year. Teenage mothers are responsible for 13% of all annual births in the U. S. The effects of adolescent pregnancies are very serious; they have complications with childbirth, they have low education levels, poor quality parenting skills and among other difficulties that has contributes to emotional and physical effects of adolescent pregnancy. Adolescents go through far more physical effects than emotional effects.
