Mean creek although a fictional movie is based on a real theme and shows me a picture what reality is like for some people. Mean Creek is a movie about bullying and how it could affect peoples lives. It was made me realize the reality of possible consequences of bullying. This movie was very imformative in a deep level. It has definitely changed my own values.
In the beginning we see George filming him self play basketball with a his own video camera and when someone innocently touches it George reacts in the only way he knows how and beats him up. In response to this Sam decides on revenge like I probably would of. He tells his brother and they come up with a plan to get George back, to teach him a lesson for his wrongdoing. They decide to invite George to Sams birthday party were they plan on going on a boat adventure down the river and once they get there they plan stripping George naked and making him walk home to take away his dignity like what he did to Sam.
