A Critique of Global warming is good for you
In Global warming is good for you (Duncan Steel, 2002), the author contends that global warming is a good thing. He supports his argument by claiming that global cooling caused both widespread disease and the downfall of civilisations in human history. Then, he continues to argue that drawbacks of global warming like rising sea level only changes the landscape of the earth. After that, he claims that the existence of life is because of greenhouse effect. He concludes by saying that global warming prevents big freezes from happening.
In this article, the author assumes that the greenhouse effect is the sole reason for global warming. Hence, he uses both terms interchangeably. However, this is not necessarily the case as there are other factors like the suns variability and Milankovitch cycles which can also result in global warming. According to Sallie Baliunas, PhD.
