The day is bright as ever in this God forsaken sub-Sahara. Sometimes it shines too brightly bringing sweat and all the smell. Terrible smell! Human smell! The viscosity of the sweat runs down the edge of the brow to join its brothers streaming on the neck line. There are rivers of this slimy mess along the arm that the tiring swipe of the forefinger tries relentlessly to ameliorate. All is in vain just as the nation is.
