Every summer my family spends several weekends at the Trinity Lake. My parents own a house boat that they keep on the lake. Whenever I go with them I like to sleep on top of the house boat because it is so peaceful. The sky is clear and well lit by the moon. It is really pretty and I can see all of the stars. The sound of crickets and waves start to sound like music to my ears. The gentle rocking of the boat almost makes me feel as if I were a baby again. As I fall asleep, I say out loud, Goodnight. Next thing that I know, a smell brings me out of my slumber. Without opening my eyes, I smell clean, cold, crisp air piercing my nose. The smell of warm coffee greets me and lets me know that I am not the only one awaken. A faint wave of cooked bacon dances past me, teasing me. With my eyes still shut, I can hear a faint humming sound, I think to myself, A lawn mower this early? Then I realize that I am not at home, Oh, yes I am at Trinity. It is a boat far away.
