Hip-hop. Probably the most evolved of all musical genres. The whole rap culture has increased dramatically within the past six to eight years. However, the music has been around for many. Decades as a matter of fact. The first recorded hip-hop music was produced in the early 1970s. Yet, there is not a single pioneer to this genre. There are quite a few DJs who tried to take their claim as the originator. Just a few that tried to claim the top spot were Pete DJ Jones, Kool DJ Herc, and DJ Hollywood. These are just a few that originated the music that would influence Americas society years later, in ways in which they could not have expected.
The best way to explain hip-hop is talking in rhymes to the rhythm of the beat. Hip-hop originated with what was called the B-Boy, or Beat Boy. DJ Herc and the B-Boy instituted the whole hip-hop movement. During this time, another modern day hobby was also created. Break dancing became popular very quick.
