Dangerous Dogs Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
What do you think of when you hear a deadly weapon? Most people think of bombs, guns, knifes, etc. People dont think of dogs as deadly weapons. But unfortunately, dogs such as pit bulls are being used as weapons, and the victims are innocent children. Pit bulls should be outlawed because they are vicious, and dangerous animals.
There are constant reports in the news about another person being attacked by one of these vicious animals. Unfortunately many of these attacks turn out to be fatal. Over a year ago, in Larue County, Kentucky, a three year old little girl was playing in her back yard when the neighbors dog, a male pit bull terrier, came into the yard. When the young girl attempted to play with the dog, he attacked her. He clenched onto her hair with his powerful jaws, tearing the scalp from her head. Fortunately, bystanders were able to get the dog off the little girl, and she was rushed to the hospital. She lived through this attack, but she still suffers from devastating damage done to her head and face. The dog was put to sleep......
