Massage Therapy is a commonly used form of muscle and joint relaxation; and has gained popularity over the last few decades, yet its origins are not well known.
Massage is defined as: the rubbing or kneading of the body especially to aid circulation, relax the muscles, or provide sensual stimulation. It began thousands of years ago and can be traced to over 100 countries in origin (GEDQ 3). The majority of massage comes from China and Sweden.
