Tuesdays with Morre is a heartbreaking story. It is about an acquaintance between a college professor and his student. When Mitch Albom went to college at Brandeis University he had a college professor name Morrie Schwartz. One day, years after graduation Mitch was flipping through the television stations and he heard a report from his TV set- “Who is Morrie Schwartz?”- And Mitch’s body became completly deadened. Mitch found that his life long friend and teacher was dying. When Mitch heard of this news he had an uncontrollable erg to visit his old time mentor. Mitch called Morrie and Morrie was very glad to hear from Mitch. He told him that he had many things he wanted to discus with him before he died. This conversation developed into a class where Mitch was the only student. The class met on Tuesdays after breakfast. The subject matter was the meaning of life. It was taught with Morrie’s experience and no grades were given, but there were oral exams each week. Mitch was expected to respond to many questions, and was expected to pose questions of his own.
