Immigrants have come from many lands and have experienced various degrees of success in adapting to life in the United States. And though the United States claims to be a country of freedom and liberty, its citizens prove otherwise. That, among many other reasons such as pop culture and education, or lack thereof, can be responsible, but individual citizens can be held accountable if they do not make an effort to change his/her need of awareness.
