Before getting into the main purpose of this paper, the views driving globalization, lets take a quick look at Dell Corporations. Dell was established in 1984 and became one of the top PC producers in that same year. The company was founded in Round Rock, Texas and now has become one of the most distributed companies around the entire world. Dell has headquarters in England, Africa, and Singapore, while having major manufacturing plants in Brazil, China, Japan, India, Mexico, and elsewhere spread throughout the world. The company employees over 65,200 workers and has a revenue that is close to 56 billion dollars. These simple facts on Dell Corporations show their attempt at economic globalization and how well they succeed in doing so. The reason behind their drive towards globalization has come from the want of expanding production and marketing areas to give them high profits.
