Population growth has exploded over the past 50 year, going from 2.8 billion in 1955 to our current population of 6.7 billion people in the world. Even more impressive is the fact that one billion people have been added just during the last ten years. These impressive growths can be blamed for the population dynamic of exponential growth, which means as populations get lager the faster they are able to grow. Population growth is very complex because all of the different aspects around it. Different cultures believe in having large families to secure economic stability, while other cultures feel that they are only able to raise a child or two only applicable. Also trends exist in developing countries that show they have high population growth rates. This, however, goes along with pollution growth pyramids that show birth rates, death rates, and age structures of a society.
