The war on terror could be defined as a campaign to end all global terrorism, Wikipedia (2005). The main instigator of this is the United States, which implemented the war on terror campaign following the September 11th attacks in 2001. It could be comprehended as an attempt by the U.S government to reform some political form of government around the globe to make them liberal democracies, Wikipedia (2005). Some European countries particularly the United Kingdom is a strong aid of the United States in this fight. With the fight on global terror now expanding, new levels of racial tensions are growing to a faster level.
Racism is a form of discrimination based on race, cast or class especially from the belief that one form is superior to another according to Anon (2006). From my point of view racial tension occurs when a different racial class comes into a particular environment and finds it hard to settle in and implement themselves within the culture, therefore they find it hard to accept the norms and the atmosphere of where they are.
