International Version, the Knowing Jesus Study Bible) But, when Eve sinned, she created a rift or division between man and God. In Isaiah 59:1-2, we read, "Behold, the Lords hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it
cannot hear but your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear."
This is what I think sin is, an act which brings about separation from God but there are many people who say sin is doing wrong. In most ancient societies, people developed a code of behavior which was supposed to create laws to guide people in their decision making. What was good was mostly what didnt hurt other people. Likewise, things that were bad were those things which did hurt other people. I can see how this might be accurate in some ways b......
