Hades is the god of the underworld in Greek mythology. He was the third brother of the Olympian, who’s share was to rule in the underworld over the dead. He was also called Pluto, the god of wealth, because of the minerals inside of earth. He had a cap which made whoever wearing it invisible. It was very rare that he left the underworld to visit Olympus of earth, nor was he urged to do so. He was not a welcome visitor because he was unpitying, but just. Hades was a terrible god, not evil. In the beginning all there was, was chaos, a void of vast emptiness. Then out of the void appeared Erebus, the unknowable place where death dwells, and Night. Everything else was empty, silent, endless, and dark. Then Love was born bringing a start of order. From Love came Light and Day. Once there was Light and Day, Mother Earth, Gaea, appeared. She bore Father Heaven also known as Ouranos. The first children they had were the hundred-handed one, who had a hundred hands and fifty heads. Next came the Cyclops, who and one eye in the middle of their forehead. Last came the Titans, they were not ......
