Starbucks Analysis Starbucks began its operation in 1987 based upon principles of serving premium coffee and enthusiastically satisfying customers through great service, all of the time. Starbucks past success has shown that they have done this well. Even world-class companies have a bad day once in a while though. In April of 1995, the Starbucks Corporation became aware of a customer, and future customer terrorist by the name of Jeremy Dorosin, who would make life difficult for the company because of a bad couple of experiences he had with them. He would try the company’s values and claim they did not hold true to their beliefs. Starbucks has been able to continue being a successful business over the last 29 years by offering a comparable high-end product and service at all of its franchises around the world. By doing this, they are able to create a customer base that is loyal to the Starbucks brand.
