What Is Art? Art is everywhere in the world. Art is a reflection of a societys way of thinking. It can also be a reflection of a persons innermost thoughts and feelings. Art is in a painting or a drawing. It is in a book or a movie. Art is in a sculpture or a building. What is art? That is the issue that is going to be argued in the following pages. Is there art in a nude sculpture? Are random strokes of a paintbrush considered art? Is a Christian novel that lacks personal creativity and sticks to strict rules and guidelines to be considered art?
