Working Women: The Feminist Power of Women Working Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report
This cross-sectional study exploits the theory of social epidemiology and relationships between attitudes and behaviors about women working. The data collected for this study comes from the General Social Survey (GSS). It consisted of a nationally represented study of non-institutionalized; adults ages 18 years or older (n=995). Linear regression analyses of women working outcomes on income were performed. Sex and race were all significantly associated with women working. On the other hand, age and income were non-significant of women working. Findings suggest that women are more likely to hire one another than men. In essence, women and men should be able to hire and promote any race at the same equality.
