Jesus and Muhammad are two prophets in religious history that are similar in many ways, and yet so very different. These saviors will forever remain two of the most influential people in their respective religions. And although they are so alike, in the eyes of their followers they still today remain religious icons for billions of people.
Jesus birth is widely speculated on, it is commonly accepted that he was born on December 25th around the years of 6 BC and 4 BC. He was born to the Virgin Mary through Immaculate Conception. His father was Joseph whom was a carpenter. Mary and Joseph had to travel to Bethlehem during her pregnancy. When they arrived they discovered that there was no where for them to sleep after their long journey, and then stayed in a stable. This is where the Virgin Mary gave birth to a baby boy, and named him Jesus which means God Saves. Three shepherds came bearing gifts of gold, frankincense, and Mir, they then became known as the Three Wise Men; these shepherds considered Jesus the Savior.
